Joakim, please don’t “deny us or mistreat us”! I’m sure you still have plenty of important insights to share. But if you’re taking a break, at least you’re leaving us with a terrific Canadian song (by Gordon Lightfoot). Nico’s great though!

Lent is coming. Perhaps there is a large poem you might commment upon for us?

Let’s face it, apart from the pope and world leaders very few of us have important things to say….but God has very important things to say through us as St Teresa of Avila reminded us in her poem:
Christ has no body
Christ has no body now on earth but yours,
no hands but yours,
no feet but yours,
Yours are the eyes through which is to look out
Christ’s compassion to the world;
Yours are the feet with which he is to go about
doing good;
Yours are the hands with which he is to bless men now.
