Then it considers Ruby a clean and powerful object oriented language. I have hard to see how you can get a better start than that! If you already now some C++ it wouldn't be to hard... Well depending on what you are trying to do of course. Probably you were compiling for Console applications. On of the great things with C# is that it is easy to get your programs running under a graphical interface instead. The core programming is however quite equal when it comes to learning them.
